Yes, that would be the best thing to do, & IIRC, has been discussed
several times on this forum.  But fastening a big honking
extinguisher on each side of the vanagon & pointing it into the vent
could really be a nice look, parking lot talking point, easy to do
feature for all those gadget prone vanagon owners???
