Subject: question for those using window AC units
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

For those of you using window AC units hung off the side and pointing in the passenger window, or otherwise. I am assuming people mostly use the 5-6000 BTU units for that. My question is how well does that size unit cool the van? If it's hot outside, like 90+ degrees, and you start out cooling a van that is already hot inside, like 110 degrees because it's been sitting in the sun... How does the AC unit do to cool it down? Does it take hours or minutes before it starts getting comfortable? Pop top up or down? Please give me some feedback.

Thanks, Edward
