I have stayed overnight at Wal-marts in just about every state.? At least 100 nights in the past three years.? I used to go in and ask the manager if it was okay but haven't done this in over a year.? I have never had a bad experience.? If anything, they have their own security force which adds safety.? I know there are lists but so far the only ones that didn't allow overnights were in St. Augustine, FL and Tucson, AZ (but they own a bank next door and let you use their lot).? I know it is win/win for Wal-Mart because I spend alot of money on supplies and use their automotive services because there are so many of them.? Sometimes my GPS will send me to an old Wal-Mart that has been replaced by a Supercenter.? Because of the size of our Westies I park away from the larger motor homes.? I just wish they would add internet hotspots.? My two cents Larry 87 Westy |
