> I'm fairly certain they changed nothing from 90-91, as they were > anticipating winding down production and switching to the T4. actually, the ONLY thing that i could find that was changed from 1990 to 1991 was in the VIN ... all 1990 models that were NOT syncros were made in Hannover, Germany. about halfway through the 1991 model year, ALL the vanagon models began showing up with VINs that showed "assembly" in Graz, Austria (where only the synros had previously been assembled/finished). the last MH (hannover-built) 1990 Vanagon that i have on record is 007468, built in early November of 1990. it is a GL automatic Burgundy and was last in Amsterdam, NY. :) after that, all the VINs of any vanagon models all have MG (built in Graz, Austria). unca joel |
