Syncro's have that as a stock feature in the right "D" pillar, but with a plastic head, looking a little like a vacuum cleaner attachment you'd clean drapes with, that clips to the top/rear of the pillar, so air without any water mist migrates into the intake. You can see the metal tabs on both D pillar tops at the rear of each, that hold the plastic head in place.
