I thought I had read elsewhere that you  could pull out the chrome
plastic strips without worry.   Anyone  care to comment?








Sorry for the previous  UNFINISHED message.

       This is one of those subjects  that has been covered adnauseum.  LOOK
in the archives.  I have been  driving my Van for 16 years, 525,000 km,
without those stupid chrome wanna  be window DECORATION strips and no leaks and no
windows have ever fallen  out.
