Thanks Jim ! I'm actually doing th whole top swap. This pic was one of many, but one of the few with a picture of the "artist" hoping for some step by step further explanation! ;o) Thanks again !!! John C...

-------------- Original message -------------- From: "Jim Felder" <jim.felder@gmail.com> I did the same/similar procedure when I got my 83 diesel westy. It had been hit and had that main left-side panel replaced with a non-westy piece welded in. The fridge vent hole was there, but not the three utility holes. I had nothing but gowesty replacements to go by, but it only took a few minutes to create a template after looking at enough pictures online to see how the placement went. Covered the area with tape, spray glued the template over that, and sawed away.

Hi Mark, Thanks for the reply! Found this pic on line, & I am looking for his web page on this Pop Top Conversion. Although a picture does say a K words, Wish I had a little dialog on his procedure. Thanks again, John... PS: Nice House ! :o)
