Hmmm.... Why would you go dinkin' around with SAE sizes when you can get the correct hoses and clamps elsewhere?

VW #: N0202811 7mm Fuel Line. Available everywhere Vanagon's shop.

The hose you bought is nearly 8mm. It'll probably work well enough I suppose. It'll definitely slide on easier than the correct hose. But why not use the correct hose?

Another source for FI fuel hose and the proper clamps is cgenterprises.com The fuel line costs $48 for 25' and $.45 each for clamps. Both 5/16" size. The only downside of this place is the long waiting time. Over 7 weeks. I hope 5/16" was the right size!!!
