I wonder what the UV would do to them here in the SW desert. Nothing but stone, concrete, and steel will last longer than three years here.

Not for mounting under your Westy, but if you carry a separate BBQ size propane tank these are cool, they are made of a translucent material so you can actually see the level of LPG in the cylinder. They are also 1/2 the weight of steel tanks. Invented in Norway, they meet US and CDN safety standards.
