BenT,

Thanks for clarifying that. The seat is indeed already installed in the Carat which is a bus. It was taken out of the '86 but was not original to that either. So I do not know the origins of the seat itself because the PO of the '86 had it installed in the '86.

It would be best if I also noted that my '90 did not have the Carat interior in it when I got it - it was gutted by the PO. So I took the plain Vanagon interior panels out of the '86 an put them in there for the time being.

So I guess the question is what "Studs" or "Posts" do I need to make the back of my weekender seat latch in what was once a Carat?
