OK Volks,


My third attempt to shedyule a vacation before the brat packs attack the
campgrounds has again failed.  Since a last minute meeting is in the middle
of next week, my logic is this now:


The campers will be out in full force Memorial Day but many will have to get
their cherubs back to school for a few more days afterward.  That's the time
I might manage an escape!


Crater is still largely snowbound but I'm thinking Shasta (reconoitre for a
climb late this summer!) or Yosemite or the high desert of OR or the Blue
Mts in E OR or perhaps an nice run I discovered last year along Route 20 in
N Cascades Natl. Park (Neil, you done this one in a Vanagon [CONTENT])?


Am I wrong or is this a plausibility?
