Jim,

I'm sure you're getting tons of emails showing support. I'm also sure
that many listmembers (myself included) would be happy to help out in
whatever way we can. It sounds like there's very little anyone
(including yourself) can do, but should the need arise, please don't
hesitate to ask.

For starters, I'll be a little more forgiving when the list goes all
wonky.

My van is a valuable part of my life, in part because of the community
that surrounds it. Unfortunately, I live in a part of the country
where there aren't many vans or buses on the road, but it's comforting
for me to know that there are people out there who are going through
the same stuff I am. More than that, they're always willing to help or
add their two cents (properly adjusted for the inflation of gas
prices, of course). My van would be in a lot worse shape without the
list.

For that, I thank you listees. But especially, thank you Jim, for
volunteering to put up with this "mess".
