Which brings us in a roundabout way back to the original point of these threads:

A couple of times a year Gerry goes down and somebody has to go find the guy that has the machine and get him to go kick it.

The hardware is getting old, the software has been old and the whole thing is slow and getting slower.

A sizable chunk of the internet in America cannot get email from Gerry because AT&T has decided it is spam.

The guy that has the will and the responsibility to administer the list doesn't have the means to do it properly.

Did I miss anything?

Is there anybody out there than can catch up to Tom C. and have a face to face with him? It seems that the fundamental solution lies in getting him to hand over the machine, or at least the drive(s) it lives on, as was originally planned.

Cya, Robert
