My rubber mats in my Syncro are out of an aircooled Vanagon we found in a junkyard in Reno. If memory serves it was that two-tone yellow. My dad was much more tolerant of hot temps than me; I was helping him get the mats out but was basically rather useless as a helper, but he was used to that. Those mats have been used in several vans, including our 82 diesel, 1990 2wd van, and now the Syncro.
