Lucky you ! I have had two vans arrive here on tow trucks due to a rear wheel bearing failure and subsequent destruction of the brake components. Many more bearings changed due to over 1/4" play in the axle to bearings. Never did clean off all the grease on those bearings to have a look see so don't know what they looked like. Just know that with new bearings and proper torque on that axle nut there was no more play. AND, BTW, I "think" Gerry was asking about the half shafts with the two CV joints. I'll let him clarify.
