How many RPM's are you turning at 55MPH?


Dunno, I have no tach.  It is an I-4 and a 5 speed.  The I-4 likes to rev.
seem happy at a higher rpm .  I backshift on a long hill if get below 55 or
60, then I run it back up to about 65 before shifting into 5th.  I think I
have a strange 5sp because someone said on the list that the diesel tranny
is way too low for the way I drive this one.  The first gear is rarely used,
more of an off road gear for me.
