Subject: More Oregon Vanagons today
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252"

In just 30 driving miles and 60 bike miles today, I saw 11 vanagons. In and around Hood River, ("Hooterville")Oregon. Guess the holiday brought out all the travelers with their vans, that and perhaps the gouging going on at the gas pump. I even saw a clone of my own turd brown 84 with about 6 sailboards on top and two road bikes on the back. Couple of nice Syncros..one off white westie with a big peace sign on the front. When I went back to my van after our Sat.morning club training ride, there were three other vans parked in the Park-N-Ride I use...Four of us out of about 20 vehicles..Vanagons. Don Hanson PS..Mike, if you get any static registering your vans in 'Bendover', just go to a smaller town. Most of the small town DMV places are very friendly and helpful in Oregon.
