I have a Volkswagen / Bombardier Iltis trailer that I haul behind my
vehicles.  I like it for two reasons - same bolt pattern as the
Vanagon so only one spare is needed or if you are really unluckey you can
rob the trailer of a tire.  The other reason is that there is a hand
brake on it so that it won't roll away on you.  Rated 0.5t OFF ROAD,
so it is built very well.  Retractable foot and a pintle hitch on it
so not just anybody can borrow it.  There is also a nice tarp that
goes over the top of it to keep things reasonably dry.
