If this is the same guy I dealt with on Ebay and discussed here on the Vanagon List last year, he should change his Ebay moniker to "grouchy". The guy ships via the most economical route. I figured that much and had no problem with it. However, when I asked what the status the shipment was, the guy just went ballistic. I would not classify him as the easiest guy to work with on Ebay. The only reason I did not give him a negative because of possibility he could give me the same. Of course, that is all change now on Epay.(that's another story for a different day) Prices aren't too bad and shipping fairly reasonable if you are willing to wait 4-6 weeks for delivery. If you will recall, this same guy sold the rights to his US and Canadian Ebay sales to a fellow in Canada. You might want to ask which guy he is. The problem I had was with the guy in Germany. If you check the archives, you will see other had similar experiences. Inline conversion parts have been very easy to get on Ebay from various vendors abroad and in the US.
