Hey Buddy ! well.....................I sure HOPE we are still driving cars and vans, as we know them today, on roads as we know them now, in 10 years, and the precious go juice will be avaiable ! We probably will get to do that yet ......................some anyway. Hard to say what will happen. A lot can sure happen in 10 years. In retrospect 1998 looks pretty simple and innocent right now, compared to how the world is today .

What I envision is that the tail of a comet will sweep the earth, and suddenly all humans ( it's always the males that cause all the mayhem..........ahem............as people would be wise to take note of ) ...............and everyone will 'just wake' up, and cast off all weapons and anger, and greed will no longer exist, and all the oil that is in places like Venezuela , Russia , and Iran - overnight they will want to joyously almost give it away, so that all humans can enjoy the wonder of driving and adventuring by vehicle.

And there is nothing so fine as wandering back roads in a TD vanagon - for example ..........the 'top of the world' road from Chicken , Alaska ( that's a funkier version of Eagle, Alaska, btw ) to Dawson, Yukon Territories, or to Atlin Lake at the top of BC, or wandering the vast US deserts. Or doing the Cassiar Hwy up through Stewart BC and on up toward Whitehorse....... such fine and vast territory to roam !
