Thanks for posting the link whoever did. re

*Pricing:*

The deposit price is $1575, of the $4175 of the second install group. Final payment of $2600 is due before shipping, Shipping is handled by UPS ground, and will run $75-$200 depending on where you live. This is not a turnkey conversion, but the most complete kit ever developed or sold for vanagon engine conversion. Folks should budget another $800-$1000 to finish their installs.

Would someone mind just explaining to me what the kit costs ? I can't tell from this paragraph, and is it just the install kit, or does it include a Zetec 2.0 liter engine too.

( oh, I think I'm getting it - it costs 4,175 4 + 2,600 = $ 6,775 total............with $ 1,575 deposit to get started - why not just say so then ? ) thanks ! scott

( Jim A. and I obviously do not speak the same language, or think the same.............just hard for me to know what something like 'of the $ 4,175 of the second install group " means. And the engine itself ...............sorry, can't tell if that's included or not. I'm very literal- part of a condition i have , I'm not exactly quite an "NT" - that's "neural typical' and that is a real term too , so what may be so obvious to many, if not speled out clearly , is not to me. But my conditon also allows me to percieve things , details and what not , that I suspect many others may not see so readily )

btw - lest anyone think I'm critical, I have publicly acknowledged Jim several times for taking vanagon engine conversions to a whole new level, and I am sure there is great value in his system here. Scott, turbovans
