My stretch had changed a lot since last year as I finished the interior and the rest of the?small details. Looks great. I really need to update my web site.

I admit that I did feel a little guilty not telling him it was a stretch and?getting a price over the phone but I did tell him it had a couple extra windows. He asked?" A?Vanagon is like a minivan right?" I simply agread and he gave me a price.

Cheers. Gerry www.vanalong.com

Hi Gerry --- having seen your new ride at the Peterborough BusVolkFest last year, I was helpless with laughter at the thought of you getting a quote over the phone. The poor dude has NO idea what your van looks like or how many windows it has :-) And how could he really...

?

Cheers,

Doug

I since had a look at the sliding windows and it looks like it would be quite a job to install film properly on them. Is it even possible to do so? If so is it going to stay in place with repeated opening and closing of the sliders? Doesn't seem that the glass or felt strip would be removable without taking the window out of the bus. Is this the case?? Any advise on this would be greatly appreciated.
