>> <I am not changing any plans now but what happens in 4 years when it's 15 dollars a gallon. Mexico exports it's last barrel of oil in about 2014. So when a full cost 150 dollars what then? Are we going to be driving these babies?>

By that time Bostig and Vanaru will have their hydrogen conversion kits on the market! Jeff <<

Probably not that far off. As I've said many time before, we are very adaptable. Gas costs roughly the same as it did (adjusted for inflation) back when my '83 rolled off the assembly line. Had it kept up with inflation it would not be at the current price it is now but we'd all have more fuel efficient cars. As the costs of gas increases it will go past the price break point of other technologies. If gas were $25 a gallon it would be cheaper to buy a custom steam engine for my van and burn wood. What I think is going to happen, if gas stays expensive, is consumption is going to go down again, like when everyone was trading their Novas for Chevettes back in the early 80's. Other technologies are going to rise up, better batteries, algae fuel, etc. Yes, I do think Bostiq will be making a hydrogen conversion kit in the future so I'm not really worried about it.

Now if the commodities bubble bursts and gas drops down again I think we'll go back to our old ways. $4 a gallon is actually a good price, It's lighting a fire under our asses to do something.

Bryan
