You're welcome, Keith. I was told by former employee that 11 of these vans were sold by the VW Dealership in Albany (in the east Bay). All were white and 2wd. Between me and my local pals, we've owned four Syncros in this trim and all were flash silver. None of those were delivered to the Bay Area. At least they werer not delivered straight to the consumers. I have seen no less than a dozen Country Homes conversions done on these platforms on 1990 models.

Yeah, I know, TMI. But hey it beats talking about fuel problems. My delete key has been worn to a nub by all the off topic huffing and puffing about oil on the List(s).

PS The VikingWagen name stuck ever since you named it at the vanorama > a few years back! I still have the Viking head on the front bumper and > continue to be amused at the little kids reacting to it as I drive by. > Lots of big people crack up as well!

Isn't that the reason why there's a "VW" on the van? Now all you need is a lady with a "well-rounded" personality to sing with Wagner in the background.

BTW, shouldn't you be carrying any extra liability insurance for that special bumper guard?
