I use my Jetta for the work commute (80 miles r/t) and if it went up to $10/gal I could still afford to go to work ( I sat down with a calculator and did the math). With that in mind I AM looking for a job closer to home as I can't see gasoline going down. I like to drive the bus once a week just cause I like driving it and I am planning on doing some serious (for me) traveling this summer with the '84 Westy. The world HAS changed, lot's of us are just now learning to deal with it. My hope is that something better will come along, I keep in mind that the stone age did not end because they ran out of rocks.
