I may have mentioned the panel Vanagon (can't recall what year) I saw on Humphrey's used car lot, probably around 1986 or so since we were shopping for a van due to the birth of my son. Wish I had paid more attention to it; panel Vanagons are rare sightings, at least around here (Northern Cal). No seats and no windows so it was not a candidate for a baby hauler at the time. Now I really like panels for some reason.
