Hi Neil. I've got a set in my van. They do sound great but they draw a lot of power since they are actually house speakers. I have them mounted on angled brackets on the lower part of the doors, pointing up. They stick into the foot area just a little bit -- I really couldn't figure out any other place to put them. I also have a white pair that I put in the rear as well. I'm going to be installing a new sound system later this summer, so you're welcome to the setup---I'll let 'em go cheap. I'll send a pic of the way they are mounted if you're interested in the brackets as well.
