Just to update: My occasional hesitation problem appears to be fixed. It hasn't reappeared since changing my o2 sensor before memorial day weekend. The previous sensor was relatively new(~4000 miles), but I think the wiring was iffy: possibly I damaged the white boot while removing that pipe during the head job? I'm also getting an extra 1-2 mpg over what I was for the past 4000 miles, so maybe the sensor had problems all along. I'll need to go through more tanks before deciding whether this increase is "real" or not. -Wes
