Are the "if" forces conspiring with or against us?


IF GM dumps their stake in subaru(done)
IF Toyota picks it up (done)
IF Toyota decides to drive sales via subaru into the 18-25 markets
with a cool coupe since scion has consistently failed to do so
IF Toyota steers the development
IF the project makes entry with 50k+ units
IF they can pull it off


then I'd say ladies and gents, we might just have the next modern
transmission opportunity for vanagons, let alone the whole powertrain
which together wouldn't required CARB exemption.


Lot's of big if's, but pretty fun to think about anyhow..
