Deschutes River Rendezvous is Father's day weekend in Maupin, OR.

I've never been, but its a VW event, all types of vw's, and I hear the rib's
are famous!  Sounds fun.  One of the owners of the Oasis resort, Mark, has a
bunch of old buses and bugs. I'll be bringing some musical instruments,
others are strongly encouraged to do the same.


Anyway, is anyone else from the list going?  It's listed on WetWesties,
too.  We'll be leaving Friday the 13th (!!!) from Bend is anyone wants to
caravan.  Some of the steep grades getting there will be fun with a bunch of
slowish vanagons and some slower buses and some quick beetles and vanarus,
too.
