Find a junkyard that has a Vanagon in it. Bring a good size punch and hammer, and you can drive them out of the axle flange. They shouldn't charge more than 50 cents each. I called the local vw dealership and found them at 13.50 a pop. The Auto Zone doesn't have them and the Advance Auto has, what they believe to be but aren't sure, a whole set for $33.00. I say a whole set because they say that it must be for the cost although no one seems t be able to tell by the order form on the computer how many comein the set 5 or 20. I just need 6 really and if any one has a lower cost alternative or know what other vehicles have compatability to the same studs it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot Leron 1971 Type II Westy 1985 Vanagon Westy |
