Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hey all,

I just ordered a fuel line replacement kit for my '87 2.1. Can somebody confirm that as long as the fuel pump isn't running (battery disconnected), the only gas I'll have to deal with is that which is in the fuel lines that are being swapped out? I have this fear, possibly irrational, that working with the fuel system will result in me under my van, gas pouring everywhere, and me needing a third hand.

I'm intending to replace all fuel lines between the pump and injectors.....following Ben's lovely web page, of course.

All in the name of fire prevention,

Andrew

Portland, OR
