When I overhauled and modded (fans) my fridge, I resealed the combustion chamber etc. as best I could. Pretty sure there weren't any leaks. But....

After doing that, in really strong cross winds, (read: cow tipping strong.... or Vanagon tipping strong? --- ;^) the flame would blow out. I ended up pulling over on one trip, and doing one of my "road fixes" and building an "air dam" of sorts (not my idea) and attaching it to the flue. Flame stayed on after that.

But, likely I shouldn't have to have that attachment there.

Maybe I should have a closer look for cracks in the exhaust/intake pipes.

Thanks for the reminder Jonathan!

Neil.
