the lower bracket he provides is very nice. as i have experimented with this quite a bit as well, my criticism is that his springs are further back on the poptop. that means he must use even stronger springs, about 150-200 pound i would say. this puts much more stress on the fiberglass top, and he does not spread this force, but uses just one hole. Persoanlly i woulkd worry about strss cracking the fiberglass in the long run. Florian
