Per Boston Bob's recommendation I put scoops on my van's intakes. Since I am running and air cooled It seemed like adding a bit of air flow could be a great thing. These scoops are homemade and a bit different than what is on ebay. I like the fact that they are so low profile though they may not be as effective. As I understood just adding a trailing edge would make a big difference so that is all that I was going for.

From most angles you don't see the rivets like you do in this photo. Most folks would never notice the extensions.
