Hi Florian,

If it's the same as the xantrex 1000 as sold at Canadian Tire, then you had best be advised that the owners manual stipulates multiple batteries for a 1000W application. The wiring supplied with the inverter is NOT sufficient for that task. Though I can vouch for it being able to deliver about 600W for a brief period.
