It's the best. I put it on a month or so ago and the difference in effort to pop the top is amazing. As soon as the latch is released the top raises a couple feet on it's own and you just lightly push to lock it in place. Bringing it down is more of the chore, and a pleasant problem. The top stays in place just above latching so you can tuck it in without having to hold the top up at the same time. Good investment, good instructions, fairly simple installation. http://tinyurl.com/6rfc4oYou can just barely see the stainless nut and washer on the pop top just rear of the roof rack bracket in that pic. That's where to top of the shock is attached. The bottom of the shock is attached to a bracket that is supplied that bolts to the existing pop top mount on the roof, at the rear.
