Yeah, mine does that, too. It's the fuzzy nature of the fabric that tends to migrate. Never happened in my 84 Westy which had no fuzzy fabric. My solution was to remove the flip-over part of the bunk and install a custom made piece to cover the gap and keep stuff from flying out of there when I hit the brakes. Nice to have the extra storage.
