Subject: What are folks doing for Diesel/Air Cooled Transmission Bushings?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

I know there are many folks on this list who have diesel Vanagons and also Air Cooled Vanagons. I also know that the rear shifter bushings for these vans have been discontinued for about 8 years now. I don't have a source for them but I am sure they are wearing out for everyone that has one of these vans. Has anyone found a source for these bushings? If not are you making your own and if so out of what? I would love to know what folks are doing about this.
