Hello again..My westy is a 1980... sorry about not posting it,,,new at this..:) the fuse in our fridge was broken ,,striped,, so my hubbie disconnected it and put an inline fuse in... so I guess our plan of action is to check the relay,, and see if power is getting to element...silly question prob but is the element different for 12 v to 120?? ( could ask hubbie but he's out in garage) thinking maybe of installing cigerette lighter in rear of van and buying adapter ( 120 to 12 v) to plug it into , rather then pulling out fridge... what do you's think??thanks againCindy80 Westie..aka...charlie> Date: Fri, 6 Jun 2008 09:01:55 -0700> From: musomuso@gmail.com> To: barriverwitch@hotmail.com> Subject: Re: problems...fridge on 12 v> CC: vanagon@> > You don't mention the year of your Vanagon, (don't forget to mention> the year! --- :^), or more importantly the model of fridge, but even> though there is power at the fuse, it may not be getting to the 12V> heater element.> > Check the wiring from fuse to fridge plug.
