I replaced the hold downs with stainless ones from West Marine, these to be specific: <http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay? storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&productId=71910&catalogId=10001& classNum=340&subdeptNum=323&storeNum=2> one of the sizes shown fits pretty good. I used stainless bolts (1/4"), flat and lock washers, and drilled out holes in rack slightly to fit the bolt. They stand higher than the stock hold downs which I think is a good thing. I'm looking for some new stainless luggage rack cleats to replace my old rusty ones. A while back i remember reading a post somewhere about somebody that was making better than stock cleats. Does anybody know who this was. I want all stainless cleats and bolts. I looked on the go westy site but it sounds like only the bolts are stainless there. Thanks Bob Mac
