Hi Zoltan. IF the switch was rated high enough, you might be able to "piggyback" the fan to the switch on the fridge itself, but that would only allow it to be on when using 12V or 110VAC operation. Not LP operation. Plus you would need to install an AC adaptor to supply 12V to fan when on 110VAC mode. Hmm..... not such a good idea. If you're concerned about leaving the fan on, install an LED to indicate when the fan is on. I have an LED installed to show when rear fan is on.
