I was driving south of the stadium today on 2nd I think and saw a Vanagon that said "electric" on the back. I think it was dark red, but I was focused too much trying to see the motor mount to notice the color much. The mount was made of angle iron. It was heading toward either south or west seattle. Does this belong to a list member? Anyone know anything about it? I'd like to know more about how the conversion was done, efficiency, etc. Probably other people would too :) I saw another electric conversion today too while driving around, it was one of the newer non-boxy Scion xB's(?). It's cool to see people jumping ahead of the car companies and doing this sort of thing themselves. |
