I was going to go BenT's route but came into a bit of extra dough and gave my husband the "truck" mirrors from GoWesty. I like the look on a Syncro. They are super expensive, but I splurged. I went through this, with my dad continually fixing them, on our diesel and earlier 1986 and just got sick of it.
