WESTERN Washington? which is like western Oregon climate-wise ?? - therefore, I ask: "WHAT summer?" Or haven't you heard (snicker!) that Summer will be more of our Spring . . . dank, wet, wearisome, . . . naw, hope I'm just kidding! We all need sun & heat quite badly!!

I would also like members comments/recommendations on not-to-miss pizza / burger / outa the way places and festivals for the traveler with time, curiosity, a friendly face, and love of conversation . . . esp in Wa, Or, Ca, and Idaho. oh - and your other inquiry - security? I'm with the fellow who's got a golden retriever - got me some dawgs! Altho, I thought goldens would've opened the van doors & invited strangers in??!!
