Hi............I'm not familiar with Reimo high tops from Germany, but i'm very familiar with the Adventurewagen fiberglass top for Vanagons........ which is a quite good set up actually............ more aerodynamically stable in cruise mode than a Westy - that pointy rear end gives it a slight 'arrow' affect. To me it's a good 15 % better than a Westy in that regard - rounder edges too, not blown around quite so much by gusty side winds..... the overall aero drag does not seem worse than a westy at all. and they do not feel top heavy at all, and they seem quite quiet inside driving too .

And.........sorry to get off there............ I tracked down the molds for these tops in Northern California. they can be gotten.......then there is the entire matter of making the things of course. Scott www.turbovans.com
