Both Outlook and Thunderbird (and any other remotely modern and sane email program) should be able to at least divide your mail based on common header values. Look around in the menus for how to set up filters or rules. Create a filter or rule for mail where the value of the To: header is "vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM" and that should separate your gerry email from the rest.
