I recently saw a piece on efforts to find the type of algae that would enable very inexpensive transportation fuel with a virtually unlimited algae production capacity. I guess they're a ways from accomplishing it but once done it would change our children's world and that's better than a cure for cancer (seeing a lot of cancer is diet/habit induced!).
