Crash damage is always best to avoid; it is a major source of future rust
problems. Accident repairs MUST be logged with the Japanese authorities,
and the green deregistration slip has these listed, so the new owner (IF
he knows about these certificates!! The dealers sure won't tell him about
them) can check for this. I'm sure the dealers know the history of their
imports full well!
