I have a few cans of Toyota refrigerant oil for compressors similar to the Vanagon compressor that I can offer list members.Toyota calls this type of compressor a swash plate compressor. Not a swash buckeler :<) This is 2 ounces of oil propelled by 1.4 ounces of R-12. It comes in a can that is rather smaller than usual for 134a, or R-12. You may have seen these before, as they are quite common. My card reader is broken, so I cannot show pictures at this time. The cans have the standard top which requires a cam lock device for attaching to the charging hose. Shake the can continuously while charging to keep the oil mixed with the refrigerant. I thought I had about 7 or 8, but my check this morning shows three cans.$5 each + $4.75 shipping. I also may have a few cans of R-12 I can sell. They are 12 ounce and 14 ounce cans.$20 and $23 respectively. Good condition, but may have a bit of rust on the tops. These suckers are about 15-20 years old and rust on the shelf. Simply ignore this or use steel wool on it. Any one interested, let me know. I will root around my shed and see what I have if there is any interest. |
